Antivirus / EDR exclusions

If another antivirus or EDR runs on the machine, add exclusions for:

  • Binaries under C:\Program Files\NESS Core\: ness-core-service.exe, ness-web-filter.exe, ness-dlp.exe, ness-xdr.exe, ness-cis-scanner.exe, ness-patch-guard.exe, ness-updater.exe, ness-configurator.exe, ness-cleaner.exe.
  • Driver and folders: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\WinDivert64.sys, C:\Windows\System32\WinDivert64.dll, C:\Program Files\NESS Core, C:\ProgramData\NESS, PowerShell.
  • Registry services: NESSCoreService, NESSWebFilterService, NESSDLPService, NESSXDRService, NESSCisScannerService, NESSPatchGuardService under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.
